Korean Society for Innovation Management and Economics (KOSIME)

KOSIME was established in 1992 for the purpose of contributing to the academic development of new theories and knowledge on scientific and technological innovation through multi-disciplinary research. It aims to diffuse innovation theories to achieve effective management of innovation at the level of private firm, government and public organizations. It also aims to develop strategies and policies associated with innovation, science and technology for central government as well as local government so as to promote a science and technology-led society. KOSIME is devoted to the exploration of innovation policies and management problems posed by various players in the Korean national innovation system and their interaction with economic, social and political processes. Its members are composed of professors, graduate students, researchers, government officials and industrialists who are interested in the innovation of science and technology.

[Membership of KOSIME]
Any person who has studied, practiced, or researched the innovation of science and technology can be an individual member. Foreigners can join KOSIME as individual members. Incorporated members, private firms, research institutes, or organizations can register if they are related to this area. Members can participate in forums, symposiums, conferences and publish papers in the Asian Journal of Technology Innovation, which is published three times a year. They will also receive and have access to any KOSIME publications. Members can access information about innovation provided by the KOSIME website (http://www.technology.or.kr) and communicate with experts using options on the website. The website provides on-line registration and payment.
