(1) Papers must be in English
(2) Papers for publication should be sent by post and/or e-mail in triplicate to the editorial office. Submission of a paper will be held to imply that it contains original unpublished work and is not being submitted for publication elsewhere. The Editor does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of papers submitted. All manuscripts will be refereed. Upon acceptance of an article, author(s) will be asked to transfer copyright of the article to the publisher. This transfer will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information.
(3) Manuscripts should be typewritten on one side of the paper only, one and a half-spaced with wide margins. All pages should be numbered consecutively. Tables, references and legends for figures should be short.
(4) The first page of the manuscript should contain the following information: (i) the title; (ii) the name(s), institutional affiliation(s) and their address of the author(s); (iii) a summary of not more than 200 words, which should state clearly and comprehensively the main arguments made in the paper; and (iv) five keywords. Any information on the author(s) including the name(s) should be avoided from the beginning of the main contents for blinded examination of the paper. The quality of this summary is particularly important. A footnote on the cover sheet should give name and address of the author to whom proofs and the reprint order form should be sent.
(5) Acknowledgements and information on grants received can be given before the references or in a first footnote, which should not be included in the consecutive numbering of footnotes.
(6) Conclusions of the paper should state clearly its implications for our understanding of innovation management, innovation policy and/or R&D issues.
(7) Footnotes and references: A sharp distinction should be made between footnotes and references. Footnotes (as few and as short as possible) should be indicated by Arabic numerals enclosed in square brackets. The list of references at the end of the manuscript should comply with the following points :

Reference to a paper
Park, K. (2003), "A Research on Relationship between Korean Technological Specialization and Patterns of Innovation Activities", Asian Journal of Technology Innovation, Vol. 11, No. 2, pp. 1-25.

Reference to a book
March, J. and Simpson, H. (1958), Organization, New York: Wiley.

Reference to a report
Jones, P. M. S. (1969), Project Evaluation - Decision on Levels of Investment in Research, Feasibility Studies and Market Surveys, PAU Report M8, London: HMSO.
Note that journal titles should not be abbreviated.
(8) Illustrations should be professionally drawn. Care should be taken that lettering and symbols are of a comparable size. The drawings should be inserted in the text and be marked on the back with figure numbers. All graphs and diagrams should be referred to as figures and should be numbered consecutively in the text in Arabic numerals. Illustrations of insufficient quality, which have to be redrawn by the publisher will be charged to the author.
(9) Tables, which must have a short heading, should be typed in the text. One and a half-space all entries, align columns (and leave ample space between them), and use horizontal rules only. Notes referring to entries in the table should be indicated by superscript letters 1), 2), 3), etc., and appear directly below the table.
(10) Any manuscript that does not conform to the above instructions will be returned for the necessary revision before publication. Papers published in Asian Journal of Technology Innovation can be downloaded at free of charge from AJTI website (http://www.asianjournal.org). Proof papers are not supplied.
